UU LIFTING’s Story: From Factory to Global Rigging Hardware Manufacturer

My career began in 2013 when I joined a local rigging hardware manufacturer immediately after college. At that time, the factory operated exclusively within the domestic market. My early years were spent as an Export Sales Manager, a role that allowed me to master the entire production cycle—from mold design and prototyping to manufacturing, surface finishing, and logistics. By troubleshooting real-world challenges on the factory floor, I gained an end-to-end understanding of the industry, which serves as the foundation for my current leadership at UU LIFTING.

During those years, I took direct responsibility for client relations and project management. Working closely with customers to bring their projects to life has been incredibly rewarding. There is a profound sense of pride in seeing our hardware integrated into structures and buildings across the globe—it is truly an honor to be a part of the backbone of such projects.

Expanding into Global Markets: Securing Our First International Order

In 2014, a pivotal opportunity transformed my career trajectory. Through a referral from a college friend, I connected with a European client who was already visiting Hebei. I acted immediately, meeting the client in person and escorting them directly to our factory.

Over a productive three-day visit, they gained a comprehensive understanding of our production standards and product quality. This resulted in a $60,000 order for finished shackles and turnbuckles—filling two 20ft containers.

This milestone was not only my first successful export, but it also laid the cornerstone for my future success in international trade.

Upon receiving their first shipment, the client expressed high satisfaction with the quality of our product. This success marked the beginning of a long-term partnership that has flourished to this day. Our professional relationship has since evolved into a genuine friendship; the client makes a point of visiting our factory whenever they are in China.

This enduring trust and continued support have not only significantly contributed to our business growth but also solidified my commitment to expanding into the global market.

The Internationalization of UU LIFTING

As our international trade operations matured, I transitioned into a more global approach, personally connecting with our clients worldwide. In 2024, I completed a two-week tour of Europe to meet several long-term partners in person for the first time. This trip was a profoundly rewarding experience; it not only broadened my perspective but also served to deepen the foundation of trust and mutual understanding that defines our business relationships.

Reflecting on my journey, I am truly grateful for my formative years in sales. Those early experiences provided me with invaluable market insights and prepared me to navigate the complexities of an ever-evolving industry. Today, our factory is well-positioned to meet the rising global demand for rigging hardware and lifting equipment, offering superior quality and highly competitive pricing.
