G70 clevis grab hooks are designed for coupling with Grade 70 alloy chains and load binders. They are used to shorten the chain and maintain the required chain length. This multifunctional assembly is suitable for use in Agricultural and industrial applications, logging, vehicle towing, and flatbed securement. A special yellow zinc surface treatment prevents rust and is durable.

Grade 70 chain hooks and fittings are manufactured with a gold or yellow chromate coating for quick identification, with a G70 grade indication embossed on the surface and convenient, shallow throat opening for easy and secure 3/8″ Grade 70 chain attachment. Cotter pins can be easily removed when needed. They are ideal for Grade 70 transport chains, utility trailers, flatbed trailers, and sand trucks. It’s reliable for surviving the most challenging situations. Clevis Grab Hooks are very common at the end of the transport chain and feature shallow throat openings for easy and secure attachment. It is important to note that G70 hooks or accessories should never be used for overhead lifting applications.

G70 Clevis Grab Hooks combined with Grade 70 chain is an effective way to restrain heavy loads for transport operations with the benefit of a cradle built into the hook to achieve total lashing capacity.
